Job Overview

Senior 2G Protocol Software Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned software engineer with expertise in designing, developing, and enhancing 2G protocol features on Base Station Controller (BSC).

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Develop and implement efficient 2G protocol software solutions for BSC.
  • Bug Resolution and Testing: Debug, analyze, and resolve internal and external defects/bugs, ensuring smooth integration with cross-functional teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration, testing, and deployment.
  • Protocol Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with 2G protocol standards and specifications.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct unit testing, system validation, and troubleshooting during development and field deployment.
  • Issue Handling and Support: Provide support for live issue handling and customer escalations.

Required Skills
  • C/C++ Programming: Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming.
  • 2G Protocols or RAN Technologies: Solid understanding of 2G protocols or experience in RAN technologies.
  • Protocol Development: Hands-on experience in protocol development, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Linux/Unix Environments: Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
