Job Overview:
  • Configuration and setup of servers (Physical and Virtual), SAN Storage, and Backup software

As a System Administrator, you are responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems and servers. You will install hardware and software and participate in continuously improving and keeping up with the backend servers/systems of applications hosted on Data Center/Cloud Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure servers, administer operating systems, harden load balancers, firewall management including users, processes, resource contention, preventive maintenance, and management of updates & patches to ensure the system is properly updated.
  • Lead the Data Center On-Prem and Cloud Servers.
  • Perform periodic health checks of the systems, troubleshoot problems, analyze, and implement rectification measures.
  • Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
  • Manage Active Directory.
  • Perform backups of servers, databases, and Recovery.
  • Proactively monitor client updates using Intune.
  • Hands-on experience on Virtualization preferably VMware.
  • Creation of LUNs and Assignment to respective servers on need basis.
  • Hands-on experience on Windows, Linux Operating Systems.
