Job Overview

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing products based on our design rules.
  • Provide technical support to the production and quality teams.
Product Design and Development
  • Perform design, design calculations, and simulations based on our design guidelines.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for innovation and cost optimization.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the technical aspects of the R&D field, including research methodologies, product development processes, and relevant technologies.
Project Management
  • Lead the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to validation, ensuring products meet quality standards and market needs.
  • Prepare design documentation as per our new product development and release procedure.
Quality and Compliance
  • Understand automotive mindset and cater to automotive design and development methods.
  • Responsible for characterization and approval of new material approvals.
  • Support operations in handling quality issues related to raw materials.
  • Adhere to change management process as defined by TDK guidelines.
Customer Requirements
  • Address customer requirements from automotive specifications.
  • Find new or alternate material suppliers.
Regulatory Compliance
  • Handle UL, VDE, CQC, BIS, and IATF audits and their requirements.
  • Provide technical support to the Quality department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative solutions for product design and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product design and development.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools.
