Job Title: SOC/ Fullchip STA Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to join our team in the field of full-chip Static Timing Analysis (STA) engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic design automation (EDA) tools, particularly Genus and Design Compiler, as well as experience with floorplanning-based synthesis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex timing analysis tasks, including pre-layout and post-layout analysis, clock gating checks, and timing closure. They will also be expected to work closely with RTL designers, physical design teams, and HMs teams to ensure overall timing closure for SoC designs.
In addition to technical expertise, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and a passion for delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-layout and post-layout timing analysis using EDA tools like Genus and Design Compiler.
- Conduct clock gating checks and timing closure activities to ensure timely delivery of SoC designs.
- Collaborate with RTL designers, physical design teams, and HMs teams to ensure seamless integration and overall timing closure.
- Develop and maintain deep scripting knowledge to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
- Provide expert advice on leakage recovery, Vmin targets, and performance vs. leakage trade-offs to ensure final sign-off quality.
