We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Chemical Process Engineer.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital part in the design and development of column internals such as trays, structured packings, random packings, distributors, and demisters. Your primary responsibility will be to optimize these components for improved mass transfer and separation processes.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop column internals to enhance mass transfer and separation efficiency.
  • Conduct process simulations and calculations for distillation, absorption, and stripping applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the design feasibility and manufacturing compatibility of internals.
  • Perform hydraulic and efficiency calculations to recommend suitable internals for specific process requirements.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot operational issues in installed column internals to improve performance.
  • Prepare technical reports, datasheets, and proposals for clients.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • 2-5 years of experience in process design, mass transfer, or column internals manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of distillation, absorption, extraction, and phase separation principles.
  • Knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat & mass transfer, thermodynamics, and pressure drop calculations.
  • Proficiency in process simulation tools such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or ChemCAD is a plus.
