Senior Cloud Architect Specialist

Key Objectives
  • Design and develop robust cloud infrastructure on AWS for our software products, ensuring high scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Run the production environment by monitoring its health and taking proactive measures to prevent any issues.
  • Optimize system performance continuously, staying ahead of customer needs, and innovating for ongoing improvement.
  • Improve the quality and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions, meeting the expectations of our customers.
  • Provide primary operational support and engineering expertise for multiple large-scale distributed software applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • At least 8-12 years of experience in the software industry, with at least 4 years in a cloud architect role.
  • Ability to design and deploy cloud infrastructure on AWS for software products, ensuring high availability, scalability, resilience, reliability, and performance.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for automating infrastructure deployment.
  • Programming skills in one or more high-level languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of container management technology (Docker, Kubernetes, Yarn, ECS, EKS) and monitoring infrastructure and visualization software like Prometheus, Grafana etc.

This role requires participation in an on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, on a rotating basis. We strive to maintain a supportive on-call culture, focused on automation, documentation, and continuous improvement to minimize disruptions.
