We are looking for a skilled NASCAR Editor to join our team. As a NASCAR Editor, you will be responsible for creating high-quality content for our website.

About the Role:

  • Actively edit and publish 20-25 articles daily.
  • Proofread articles to ensure no avoidable errors remain and check plagiarism before publication.
  • Research facts to ensure their veracity and identify incorrect claims.
  • Publish articles in a timely fashion for priority news-based articles.
  • Mentor and guide writers to refine their quality, output, and performance.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations of writers in the NASCAR division.
  • Undertake other key duties as instructed by the Editorial Team Lead.

  • You have a good grasp of the fundamentals of the English language and are accustomed to American culture.
  • You are quick with fact-checking and enhancing editorial quality.
  • You take ownership of publishing articles on time and are flexible for event-coverage days.
  • You have leadership qualities, are a good judge of character, and have a knack for people management.
  • You have a keen eye for enticing titles and subheadings and possess basic SEO knowledge.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6-12 months of experience in proofreading and/or content editing.
  • Prior experience leading a team of writers would be an additional plus.
