Workday Expert Role

This is a key position for developing complex solutions across client implementations. The ideal candidate will have in-depth technical and functional skills, particularly across absence/time tracking, benefits, HCM, compensation, recruiting, talent, and performance areas.

The role involves delivering complex configurations for clients, managing data transformation, and performing EIB data loads. It also includes providing go-live assistance and ongoing support.

  • Gather business/technical requirements from clients, work collaboratively with business analysts and architects to clarify needs and achieve consensus on organization priorities.
  • Develop Workday solutions to meet client needs.
  • Conduct sessions with client personnel to verify required aspects of concerned module.
  • Configure based on filled workbook.
  • Perform self-reviews and smoke testing of work delivered and review peer's work.
  • Application Testing: Assist clients with testing of concerned functional module. Testing is driven by scenarios from client team.
  • Production Support: Includes practices and disciplines of supporting Workday solution for period of time post deployment.
  • Migration Activities and Production Rollout: Assist with rollout of Workday solution into production environment.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent technical & functional skills across functional areas required for developing and delivering complex solutions.
  • Thorough knowledge of absence/time tracking, benefits, HCM, compensation, recruiting, talent, and performance configuration build.
  • Strong understanding of data conversion and reporting concepts.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new skills and manage multiple projects & teams.
