Senior Leadership RoleAbout the Position

This challenging and impactful leadership position requires strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent leadership skills to manage a diverse team of data scientists and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Hire, onboard, and develop a talented team of data scientists and engineers, promoting a culture of excellence, agility, and collaboration.
  2. Provide coaching, mentorship, and career development aligned with organizational values, fostering growth and success.
  3. Lead the design, delivery, and optimization of advanced analytics products and decision intelligence applications, leveraging Aera platform capabilities.
  4. Ensure high-quality development follows best practices for scalability, maintainability, and production-readiness (e.g., Git version control, documentation, CI/CD, pipeline management).
  5. Own and evolve team sprint planning and agile ceremonies using tools like JIRA, driving project efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Manage intake, prioritization, and delivery across a dynamic book of work in partnership with stakeholders and leaders.
  7. Serve as a key liaison with global stakeholders, including partners across the US and Europe, to co-create solutions addressing business-critical challenges.
  8. Collaborate closely with IT and data platform teams to ensure data pipeline availability and integration within the Enterprise Data Lake and Aera Decision Data Models.
  9. Identify opportunities for automation and unlock additional value from existing solutions, driving business impact.
  10. Recommend and prototype innovative use cases on Aera and other platforms with demonstrable ROI, driving business growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven track record of managing technical teams and delivering data/AI products at scale.
  • Expertise in Aera platform development, configuration, and integration into operational workflows.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with agile delivery frameworks and project management methodologies.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on impact and usability.
  • Deep understanding of modern analytics tooling (Python, R, SQL, GitHub).
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related analytical field.
  • 6+ years of experience in data science, analytics engineering, or decision intelligence.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role managing or growing analytics teams.
  • Prior experience with Aera is required; knowledge of related systems is a strong plus.
  • Exposure to biopharma operations (manufacturing, quality, supply chain) preferred.
  • Experience deploying predictive models, decision-centric dashboards, and optimization/simulation models.
