Job Title: Key Process Owner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to assume the role of Key Process Owner. This position requires a deep understanding of US Property and Casualty Insurance, with expertise in Underwriting processes.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, providing coaching and feedback to team members, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.

This is an opportunity to drive process improvement activity on the floor using process excellence methodology, identify areas for improvement, scope projects, and involve relevant others.

  • Monitor transactions on an ongoing basis and take corrective steps where necessary or make incremental improvements.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to enable them to improve their performance.
  • Assist new hires such that they are productive on the floor in the shortest possible time frame.
  • Escalations management and resolution.
  • Provide inputs on process and system to the team members.
  • Client interaction, where required at the level of supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, external regulations, and information security standards.
  • Develop strategies on the floor for reducing attrition and improving employee satisfaction. Stay in touch with people and have the pulse of how they think and what needs to be done to influence them.
  • Documented monthly/half yearly performance review of Assistant Managers / Lead Assistant Managers.
