Job Title: Design for Testability Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Design for Testability (DFT) specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our digital circuits can be reliably tested and validated during the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with ASIC design teams to ensure DFT design rules and coverages are met.
  • Develop high-quality manufacturing ATPG test patterns for stuck-at (SAF) and transition fault (TDF) models through the use of on-chip test compression techniques.
  • Perform MBIST verification (including repair), test pattern generation using Mentor tool.
  • Conduct ATPG (SAF, TDF) and MBIST verification using unit delay and min/max timing corner simulations.
  • Collaborate with Product/Test engineering teams on the delivery of manufacturing test patterns for ATE.
  • Support post-silicon debug effort, issue resolution.
  • Develop Diagnostic Tools for ATPG, MBIST, and ATE bring-up.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain scripts as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4-12 years' experience in ASIC/DFT - simulation and Silicon validation.
  • Experience working on at least one Full chip DFT project.
  • Detailed knowledge on DFT concepts, pattern simulation, Silicon debug, and yield enhancement.
  • Expertise in ATPG - coverage analysis, Memory verification, repair, and failure root-cause analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as TestKompress, ETVerify, VCS (preferred), ModelSim.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Perl, shell, etc. is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new tools, methodologies.
  • Multi-tasking and prioritization skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with silicon debugging tools.
  • Understanding of electrical design automation (EDA) tools.
