Job Title: Power BI Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data modeling concepts and DAX, as well as proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design and implement data models, including relationships, calculated columns, measures, and DAX expressions.
  • Optimize data queries and performance tuning for efficient data retrieval and visualization.
  • Integrate Power BI solutions with other systems and data sources as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Power BI solutions.
  • Conduct training sessions and knowledge sharing to empower end-users with self-service BI capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Power BI development, with a strong understanding of data modeling concepts and DAX.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
  • Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
  • Experience in transforming and cleansing data from various sources for analysis and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude towards learning and professional development.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or Microsoft Certified: Power BI Associate are a plus.
