The Role
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer - Analytics Specialist to join our global team. As an Analytics Data Engineer, you will play a key role in collecting and organizing data, developing data visualization tools, and working closely with business professionals and data scientists to drive growth for our company.
About the Job
You will be responsible for creating analytics-focused data structures, orchestrating data pipelines, and working with data engineers, data scientists, and business users to design and build visualizations that answer critical business questions. Your knowledge of cloud services, such as GCP and AWS, will be valuable in this role. Additionally, experience with visualization tools, like Tableau and Domo, is highly beneficial. Your expertise will also be used to build data flow, data pipeline, and workflow management tools, such as Cloud Composer and Airflow.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field. A Graduate degree is a plus. You will also need at least 3 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer. Your working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases will be essential. Additionally, your ability to resolve issues independently and your excellent communication and collaboration skills will be valuable assets in this role.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL, is preferred. Additionally, experience with big data tools, such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka, is also beneficial. Your ability to build and optimize 'big data' data pipelines, architectures, and data sets will be highly valued.
