About the Role
As a zOS System Programmer at Ensono, you will be responsible for providing premium support and services to our mainframe clients. You will perform system programming activities such as configuration, installation, and maintenance using SMP/E and vendor software installations in the mainframe environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform standard system programming activities like configuration, installation & maintenance using SMP/E, and vendor software installations in the mainframe environment.
- Support other team members: storage management, performance tuning, capacity planning, security, networking, and operating procedures from zOS perspective.
- Work with Mainframe System Programmers staff across tracks to enhance the mainframe environment.
- Participate in software deployments and various support functions as defined by the department manager.

Requirements
- 12+ years of professional work experience as a Mainframe System Programmer in zOS & ISVs.
- Bachelor's degree required and/or equivalent work experience.
- Mainframe Certifications / Badges is an added advantage.

Technical Skills
- Expertise in performing SMP/E and Non-SMPE Installation of ISV products)
- Operating system z/OS upgrades workflow execution.
- JES3/JES2 initialization
- Sysplex and config management (good to have)
- Fluent in JCL and IBM Utilities (IEBGENER/IEBCOPY/AMASPZAP/DFDSS)
- ISPF/TSO and other basic
- Basic knowledge of REXX/CLIST

Salary Information
The estimated salary for this role is ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,500,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
