As a seasoned automation expert, we are seeking an individual to lead our engineering team in designing and implementing cutting-edge automated test suites using Playwright.

This role is ideal for someone with expertise in developing and maintaining end-to-end automated tests, ensuring seamless integration into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to define and execute test strategies.

We value professionals who can bring their skills and experience in leveraging Playwright to create robust automation frameworks, extending and optimizing testing capabilities for UI, REST APIs, and microservices, and writing data-driven and reusable test scripts.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Automated Test Suites: Utilize your expertise in Playwright to craft and maintain end-to-end automated test suites, ensuring comprehensive coverage of product functionality.
  • Extend and Optimize Testing Capabilities: Expand and refine automation frameworks to accommodate emerging technologies, such as UI, REST APIs, and microservices.
  • Integrate Automation into CI/CD Pipelines: Seamlessly integrate automated tests into delivery workflows, ensuring smooth execution and reporting.
  • Write Data-Driven Test Scripts: Create efficient and scalable test scripts that leverage data-driven approaches, reducing maintenance and improving overall quality.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to develop and execute test strategies that align with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Automation Expertise: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in automation and a strong background in scripting languages (TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js).
  • Playwright Proficiency: Strong expertise in utilizing Playwright for web UI automation, with knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js.
  • REST API Knowledge: Good working understanding of REST API testing using Playwright or equivalent frameworks.
  • CI/CD Experience: Familiarity with integrating test automation into delivery workflows using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI.
  • Data Validation Skills: Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and debugging.
