Business Valuation Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Valuation Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for extracting and mapping data from financial statements, tax returns, bank statements, and other relevant documents into valuation models and Excel-based tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research on industry trends, guideline public companies, and precedent transactions
  • Analyze historical and projected financial statements to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for further investigation
  • Identify and implement appropriate normalization adjustments to financial statements
  • Assist in building and refining valuation models, performing adjustments, and applying quantitative techniques to support business valuation conclusions
  • Prioritize projects and participate in scheduling meetings
  • In time, oversee all stages of the valuation project life cycle, apply appropriate valuation methodologies, reconcile value indications, and prepare and finalize valuation reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field
  • A business valuation credential (CFA), CA, MBA, or other advanced degree or certification
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Minimum four years of experience in accounting or finance
