About the Role

Smart Working is seeking an experienced Drupal Expert to join their UK team on a full-time, long-term basis. This remote work opportunity is ideal for individuals who value flexibility and want to advance their careers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex enterprise-scale Drupal websites, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential, as this role involves close collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure Drupal solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Maintain and improve existing Drupal websites, ensuring optimal performance and user experience
  • Participate in continuous learning and skill development, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Requirements and Qualifications
  • At least 4 years of experience in Drupal development, with a strong focus on enterprise-level projects
  • Expert-level knowledge of PHP, Drupal core, and contrib modules
  • Proficiency in Twig templating, configuration management, and object-oriented programming
  • Familiarity with API integrations (REST/SOAP) and security measures
  • Excellent English language skills and strong written communication
