Business Case Study Writer Position

The Woxsen University is seeking a skilled professional to partner with faculty in researching, developing, writing, and publishing high-quality business case studies. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent writing and editing abilities, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough research, collaborating with faculty to clarify pedagogical objectives and case formats, writing case studies that include background context, decision points, alternative courses of action, supporting data, and teaching notes.

  • Research Skills:
  • Conduct thorough research to gather data needed for case study development.
  • Collaborate with faculty to clarify pedagogical objectives and case formats.
  • Maintain academic integrity and ensure factual accuracy through verification and citations.
  • Revise drafts based on feedback from faculty/stakeholders; ensure clarity, relevancy, and engagement.
  • Qualifications:
  • A master's degree in Business / Management / Case Writing / Communications, or related field; PhD preferred.
  • Proven publication record: at least 10 completed and published case studies or similar works.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English; ability to compose narratives that are analytically strong, engaging, and pedagogically sound.
  • Strong research skills, including interviewing, data gathering, qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Familiarity with business case formats, and experience in academic settings or business school pedagogies.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with faculty and stakeholders.
