Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Hadoop Administrator to join our team at Kenn IT Business Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and supporting large-scale Hadoop clusters in a Cloudera environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new Hadoop projects from scratch.
  • Execute system upgrades for existing Hadoop clusters using Cloudera.
  • Install, configure, and support HIVE, IMPALA, SOLR, SPARK, and KAFKA.
  • Handle severity incidents related to Hadoop clusters.
  • Manage MySQL database related to Hadoop clusters.
  • Set up and manage BDR jobs.
  • Procure and license Hadoop hardware.
  • Implement SSL and TLS on clusters.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Hadoop administration, DevOps, and Cloud skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, and related technologies.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, and Cloud platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Airflow DAG analysis.
  • Knowledge of UDFs and Lambda Architecture.
  • Experience with Spark Streaming and Kafka for real-time processing.
  • Experience with Python scripting and automation.
