System Operations and Maintenance Specialist

This role involves overseeing the operation of complex systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, availability, and scalability.

  • Maintain multiple SAP instances across development, test, training, and production environments.
  • Implement and manage configuration and transport systems for seamless promotion of objects and configurations.
  • Ensure smooth integration between systems using structured approaches that minimize risk and maximize reliability.
  • Configure and oversee SAP printing subsystems for all instances.
  • Monitor system health through various metrics such as work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks, developer traces, and disk space.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills to bridge calls with clients, facilitating efficient collaboration and issue resolution.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of ABAP and JAVA systems, along with proficiency in handling multiple applications like BOBJ, BODS, Cloud connector, Content server, and Open Text.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
  • Ability to plan and execute SAP tuning strategies for optimal performance.
  • Experience with webdispatcher, SSL, and SSO configuration is highly valued.
