In this hybrid role, you will be working on full-stack software development for web applications.

Autodesk Fusion is an ecosystem of client and server components, next-generation web client, SDK, and Cloud services with a variety of integrations with world-leading products such as AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit.

Responsibilities

  1. You will lead the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of the application.
  2. Produce clean, effective, secure, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  3. Embrace an event-driven architecture mindset and apply it to software development.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on project goals and timelines.
  5. Utilize web debugging techniques to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  6. You will be working on cloud technologies, including AWS services such as S3, OSS, and RDS, for scalable and reliable solutions.
  7. You will be acting as a Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and ensuring the team's adherence to agile principles.
  8. You will be mentoring and guiding junior engineers, fostering their professional growth, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  2. 6-8 years of industry experience building and delivering robust, performant, and maintainable commercial web applications.
  3. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  4. Proficiency in frontend development such as JavaScript/HTML/CSS.
  5. Proficiency in backend development frameworks such as NodeJS, Django, C++.
  6. Experience building Progressive Web Applications.
  7. Experience with database technologies e.g. MySQL, MongoDB.
  8. Experience with build and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
  9. Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS services such as S3, OSS, and RDS.
  10. Solid understanding of event-driven architecture principles.
  11. Experience in driving teams and acting as a Scrum Master.
  12. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience with WebGL and 3D graphics programming.
  2. Masters in Computer Science.
  3. Understanding of Discrete Event Simulation.
