Motion Designer & Video Content Creator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Motion Designer and Video Content Creator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality, animated educational videos that break down complex topics into clean, engaging, and visually compelling stories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and animate explainer videos in a style similar to industry leaders
  • Transform scripts and storyboards into polished motion videos
  • Collaborate with copywriters and subject matter experts to simplify complex content
  • Create animated assets (charts, UI flows, concepts)
  • Record or edit voiceovers, sync audio, and apply subtle sound design
  • Maintain brand style guides, animation principles, and reusable templates
  • Optimize videos for YouTube, app platforms, and social media

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in motion design, video content creation, or explainer video production
  • A solid portfolio of 2D or motion graphic explainers (specific domain knowledge is a plus)
  • Strong storytelling ability and comfort working with abstract concepts
  • Ability to work under creative direction while also proposing improvements

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience creating educational content for YouTube or learning platforms
  • Understanding of key concepts in the crypto domain
  • Experience using Lottie or exporting animations for web/mobile
