Job Title: Senior Data Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Architect to lead our data strategy in the finance space. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing data solutions that drive business value.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design end-to-end data and analytics solution architecture from concept to delivery.
  • Develop technical solutions to deliver scalable analytical solutions leveraging cloud and big data technologies.
  • Drive the design, sizing, setup, etc. of Azure environments and related services.
  • Provide mentoring on data architecture design and requirements to development and business teams.
  • Review solution requirements and architecture to ensure selection of appropriate technology and efficient use of resources.
  • Advising on new technology trends and possible adoption to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities and publish thought leaderships.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to drive technology strategy for the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering multiple data solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with ETL development using SSIS, Data Factory, and related Microsoft and other ETL technologies.
  • Demonstrated in-depth skills with SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, HDInsights, and Azure Data Lake.
  • Demonstrated experience with different data models like normalised, de-normalized, stars, and snowflake models.
  • Deep understanding of operational dependencies of applications, networks, systems, security, and policy (both on-premise and in the cloud).
  • Advanced study/knowledge in computer science or software engineering along with advanced knowledge of software development and methodologies.
  • Strong technical background and evergreen with technology and industry development.
