We seek an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess both agile and software development experience, with a strong focus on quality processes and automation. They should have expertise in tool development, test case creation, and manual/automated testing, as well as excellent written and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain functional test cases, System & Integration Test cases, and automated scripts used in SDLC.
- Execute manual and automated test cases to validate functionalities and code quality, reporting results and following formal test architectures and project processes.
- Track metrics for each sprint, such as velocity, code quality, defect density, code review metrics, and testing metrics, and report them to management.
- Document testing results, including expected behavior, actual behavior, and detailed steps to reproduce any defects.
- Provide quality sign-off to project teams and execute testing duties as assigned.
- Configure QA performance/load test design and execution to ensure high-performance software environment under load.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in STEM or related field required.
- 3+ years of application testing experience.
- Experience with use case generation, manual testing, and bug lifecycle management.
- Understanding of Relational database models and experience with GUI tools to interact with them.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Exposure to using bug tracking and test case management tools.
- Experience testing and working with multi-browser and mobile device systems.
- Good customer empathy.
- Can-do attitude.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about building amazing products.
- Strong analysis and autonomous problem discovery and solving skills.
- Experience in C#, JUnit/TestNG, Jenkins, Playwright, Selenium, SoapUI.
- Experience in creating Playwright, Selenium, REST API, Junit test automation.
- Experienced with API testing using tools such as Postman and JMeter.
