Data Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our data modernization efforts.

Our team collaborates with visionary companies, crafting innovative products for emerging markets.

  • Advise clients on cloud-first strategies for core data initiatives.
  • Provide thought leadership on process and technical matters.
  • Become a trusted advisor on Data Engineering.
  • Design, develop, deploy, and support end-to-end data strategy, including infrastructure, collection, transmission, processing, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and educate client teams on the latest approaches, tools, and skills.
  • Establish clients for continued success post-delivery.

Requirements:

  • Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate or Fabric Data Engineer Associate.
  • Experience working in consulting or contracting capacity in large data management and modernization programs.
  • SQL Server experience, data engineering, on platforms such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, and Synapse.
  • Strong knowledge of Delta Lake and Lakehouse Architecture.
  • Knowledge of securing Azure environment, RBAC, Key Vault, and Azure Security Center.
  • Extensive experience with Kafka and Spark in production environments.
  • DBA experience in large-scale MS SQL environments deployed in Azure.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to quickly resolve issues.
  • Knowledge of Scala or Python.
  • Linux administration and networking experience.
  • Scripting skills and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using PowerShell, Bash, and ARM templates.
  • Understanding of security and corporate governance issues related to cloud-first data architecture.
  • Experience in enabling continuous delivery for development teams using scripted cloud provisioning and automated tooling.
  • Agile development methodology experience.
  • Sound business judgment and demonstrated leadership.
