Job Description:

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough keyword research to identify opportunities for increasing traffic and improving search rankings.
  • Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and URLs for target keywords ensuring a SEO-friendly website structure.
  • Identify and resolve technical SEO issues such as crawl errors, broken links, and duplicate content improve website loading speed and mobile usability.
  • Collaborate with the content team to develop and optimize SEO-friendly content ensuring it is relevant high-quality and aligns with SEO best practices.
  • Implement link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks identify potential link partners and create outreach campaigns.
  • Utilize SEO tools like Google Analytics Google Search Console and SEMrush to monitor website performance track keyword rankings and analyze traffic data.
  • Analyze competitor websites and strategies to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Provide regular reports on SEO performance including traffic rankings and other key metrics suggest improvements and strategies for continued growth.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in SEO with a proven track record of improving search engine rankings and driving organic traffic.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics Google Search Console SEMrush Ahrefs and Moz knowledge of HTML CSS and website management platforms e.g. WordPress.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with content marketing and its role in SEO ability to work with content creators to optimize for SEO.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills ability to articulate SEO strategies and results to stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve SEO issues quickly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with local SEO and optimizing for specific geographic regions.
  • Knowledge of social media marketing and its impact on SEO.
  • Certification in Google Analytics or related SEO certifications.
