Visual Artist - Look Development Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Artist with expertise in look development to join our project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in visual arts and design, with a focus on shading, rendering, and creating photorealistic environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality materials, shaders, textures, and environments that meet photorealistic standards.
  • Define look development standards and implement them across various projects to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other teams to maintain quality and consistency in productions.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize scenes for performance in rendering pipelines.
  • Maintain the highest level of detail and artistic quality while aligning with the project's creative vision.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance visual effects pipelines.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 6–7 years of professional experience in look development, shading, set building, and rendering.
  • Software Proficiency: Expertise in V-Ray, Octane, Cinema 4D, and Unreal Engine (with a strong understanding of path tracing and optimization).
  • Artistic Foundation: Strong eye for composition, color theory, and aesthetics with proven ability to achieve photoreal output.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in DCC tools such as Unreal Engine, Cinema 4D, Maya, and Substance.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work closely with cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced production environment.
