Primary Responsibilities:
1. Conduct pre-flight and post-flight medical checks on all ground staff, maintaining accurate documentation and records as per DGCA and company rules.
2. Perform pre-duty breath alcohol tests for ground staff and maintain records accordingly.
3. Ensure the upkeep of the Medical Centre and address any discrepancies.
4. Assist in replenishing and certifying the contents of the First Aid Kit, Medical Kit, and Universal Precaution Kit.
5. Provide medical treatment to employees and respond to emergencies as a paramedic.
6. Assist in handling casualties of accidents/medical incidents within the Airport area for IndiGo employees, administering first aid as needed.
7. Coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
8. Participate in DGCA/internal audits and investigations as required.
9. Respond to calls and participate in airport accident drills conducted by the Airport Operator or other relevant authorities.
10. Work in shifts as per company requirements.
11. Willingness to travel outside the assigned base for audits/checks and other temporary functions as needed.
12. Maintain administrative requirements of the medical room, including monthly stock taking for PFMC related stationery/equipment, medicine stock, and stationery requirements, and initiate purchase processes as necessary.
13. Assist medical officers in the functioning/tasks of the medical section.
14. Maintain stock at the medical room as per DGCA requirements.
