Content Strategist Role

We are seeking a skilled Content Strategist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a curious and entrepreneurial thinker who is passionate about content and the world of FMCG, especially beauty and personal care brands.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a strategy role with content strategy as a core function. They should have a strong understanding of content marketing, formats, performance, testing, optimization, and search (SEM-SEO). Additionally, they should be able to present and justify work based on robust insights and have excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.

This role involves developing best-in-class content and strategies informed by consumer, category, channel, and performance insights. The successful candidate will work closely with the content team leader, lead creators, and other stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions that resonate deeply with audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop insights and strategic responses to briefs
  • Campaigns, interruptive or needs-based content, and new product development
  • Champion and drive a 'mobile first' and short-form content agenda in line with Unilever Best Practice
  • Help evaluate ideas and concepts against Unilever best practice, strategy frameworks, and mobile-first approach
  • Help establish effective ways of working with U-Studio, Unilever internal teams, and specialist partners

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of content marketing, formats, performance, testing, optimization, and search (SEM-SEO)
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to understand and interpretative multi-channel insight reports
  • Passionate about all things related to content, with a keen interest in keeping up-to-date with trends and technological advances
