Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional to take on new challenges and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in full stack development, with a strong proficiency in PHP programming and object-oriented programming concepts. They will also have hands-on experience with MySQL database design, optimization, and management.

In addition, they should be proficient in JavaScript for frontend development, with experience in WordPress development, including custom themes and plugins. Familiarity with CodeIgniter framework for PHP development, as well as strong DevOps skills, including CI/CD implementation, version control (Git), and automated deployment, is also required.

They should also have practical experience with AWS services, including deployment, monitoring, and scaling applications, as well as understanding of RESTful APIs and web services integration.

Requirements
  • 6+ years of professional full stack development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP programming with object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Extensive experience with MySQL database design, optimization, and management.
  • Solid knowledge of JavaScript for frontend development.
  • Proven expertise in WordPress development including custom themes and plugins.
  • Hands-on experience with CodeIgniter framework for PHP development.
  • Strong DevOps skills including CI/CD implementation, version control (Git) and automated deployment.
  • Practical experience with AWS services including deployment, monitoring and scaling applications.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services integration.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Experience with additional PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony).
  • Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with additional AWS services (Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch).
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
