Job Opportunity: Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Data Engineer, responsible for integrating data solutions that support our business intelligence and analytics.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines that enhance the developer experience on Azure.
  • Developing ETL processes, utilizing data warehousing techniques, and ensuring seamless integration with Internal Development Platforms.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement effective data flow processes.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of data migration and processing using Azure services, including ADLS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Synapse, and Azure SQL DB.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8-13 years of experience in developing data ingestion, processing, and analytical pipelines for big data, relational databases, and data warehouse solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in programming languages like Python/PySpark, SQL, and procedural SQL languages.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD deployments, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and data sets, data frames, Azure Blob & Storage Explorer.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Prior experience in the insurance or financial industry is preferred but not required.

Additional Skills:

  • Data Frame management using PySpark.
  • SQL database administration.
  • Experience working with large volumes of data and distributed systems.
