Genpact is seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Assistant Vice President, Financial Crime and Risk Management.
Job DescriptionAs a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading delivery and driving strategic growth in Financial Crime Compliance. You will oversee AML/KYC operations, define and execute a business roadmap, and partner with various service providers to build client solutions. Your expertise will also include managing financial performance, establishing key relationships with clients and partners, and mentoring resources to conduct investigations and remediate KYC files.
You will work closely with practice leaders to evangelize scalable solutions in the Financial Crimes domain and strengthen the value proposition. Additionally, you will provide thought leadership on diverse projects, identify areas of risk, and recommend operational improvements. You will also seek ways to enhance customer due diligence and PEP screening processes while ensuring compliance and improving efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification and prior experience of leading delivery in FCC.
- Experience in building, appraising, and handling Service Delivery of regulatory compliance teams with a span of 400+ FTEs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Domain and technical understanding of Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Customer Compliance principles, including extensive knowledge of regulations impacting banks in Client On Boarding and Financial Crimes.
- Experienced in tools like Actimize, RDC, Lexis Nexis, Company House, and Dow Jones.
- Understanding of CDD, EDD, and CIP requirements for compliance under regulations.
- Knowledge of BSA/AML business divisions/platforms.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in handling critical casework.
