We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the publication process of our esteemed scientific journal.

• This role will lead cross-functional teams across peer review, content writing, and video production to ensure delivery of high-volume scientific publications.

1. Manage a team of experts in manuscript workflow to ensure timeliness, quality, and adherence to journal standards.
2. Identify inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase throughput and reduce publication timelines.
3. Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies such as AI to optimize workflows, enhance productivity, and improve the author experience.
4. Develop team KPIs and departmental goals; monitor performance and ensure accountability.
5. Maintain scientific rigor and editorial excellence across all published content, aligning with our standards.

• A Master's or Ph.D. in life sciences is required for this position.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in academic, scientific publishing, or edtech content production, specializing in managing publication workflows.
• Proven management experience is essential for this role.
• Strong understanding of peer review, open access trends, and evolving scientific publishing models.
• Familiarity with digital publishing technologies, Content Management System (CMS), and workflow automation tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with strong communication skills.
