Desktop Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and services related to desktop computers, laptops, smartphones, and printers.

In this role, you will be handling daily technical support activities, including hardware and software diagnosis, installation, and troubleshooting of desktop computers, laptops, smartphones, and printers. You will also be responsible for updating call closure details on the service desk tool and returning defective spares to stores on time.

Additional responsibilities include setting up desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals, as well as installing and testing desktop software applications, such as Office, Acrobat, Mail, and SAP client. You will also be required to test computers periodically for antivirus software, patches, disk fragmentation, and Windows updates to ensure proper functioning of computer systems.

You will work closely with clients to develop and manage effective professional working relationships, adhering to policies as per organization directives and managing assets, including software and hardware.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and experience in providing technical support and services related to desktop computers, laptops, smartphones, and printers.
