We are seeking an experienced Financial Leader to oversee our accounting operations in Hosur, India.

About the Role:
  • Operational Excellence: Manage and optimize all daily accounting functions, including Billing, A/R, A/P, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, and Inventory Accounting.
  • Tax Compliance: Serve as the subject matter expert on GST-related matters. Ensure accurate and timely filing of all GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9), handle reconciliations, and manage any GST audits or departmental queries.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Take ownership of financial reporting and analysis using advanced SQL skills. Develop custom reports, create complex queries, and work directly with the SAP backend to extract and analyze data.
  • Closing & Compliance: Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes. Prepare and present accurate financial statements and management reports in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
  • Regulatory Oversight: Ensure 100% compliance with all statutory regulations, including TDS, TCS, Provident Fund, ESI, and other requirements under the Companies Act.
  • Audits & Controls: Act as the primary point of contact for statutory and internal auditors. Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Team Development: Mentor, guide, and develop the accounting team to foster a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance. A professional certification (CA / CMA) is highly preferred.
  • At least 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, specifically within a private limited manufacturing company in India.
  • Technical Skills: Expert-level proficiency in SAP Business One, strong proficiency in SQL, and knowledge of Ind AS, corporate law, and direct/indirect taxation.
