Core Python Backend Developer Position

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Core Python Backend Developer to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our backend applications, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and meet the needs of our users.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Core Python, with expertise in object-oriented programming, data structures, and design patterns. They should also have hands-on experience with Django, including its ORM, middleware, and application architecture. FastAPI is another essential skill, as this developer will be responsible for building high-performance APIs and async services.

This position requires the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including frontend, DevOps, and product teams. The successful candidate will participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and deployments, ensuring that all solutions are well-designed, testable, and scalable.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing robust and scalable backend applications using Python, Django, and FastAPI.
  • Developing high-quality REST APIs and application modules.
  • Ensuring database schema optimization, query performance, and transactional integrity (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
  • Implementing authentication, authorization, RBAC, and security best practices.
  • Working with async programming for performance-critical services.
  • Managing background jobs and distributed task queues (Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ).
  • Maintaining application performance, fault tolerance, and scalability.
  • Collaborating with other teams to deliver features and ensure seamless integration.

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in Core Python (OOP, data structures, design patterns).
  • Hands-on experience with Django (ORM, middleware, application architecture).
  • Proven experience with FastAPI for building async APIs.
  • Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and WebSockets.
  • Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (Redis/MongoDB).
  • Experience with async IO, concurrency, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of API security, session management, and data protection.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of GraphQL (Graphene, Ariadne, or Strawberry).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Exposure to monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
  • Prior work in large-scale or high-traffic applications.
