Financial Analyst Role Overview

The successful candidate will play a key part in our team's success, contributing to the development and maintenance of complex financial models.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • We create and update detailed financial forecasts, incorporating scenario analysis and market trends.
  • Our team relies on thorough DCF, relative, SOTP, and other valuation methods to develop accurate assumptions and rationales.
  • We identify investment opportunities by screening large datasets and collaborate with Portfolio Managers/CIOs to implement these ideas.
  • The role involves preparing earnings reviews, attending conference calls and management meetings, as well as creating pitch notes/presentations, industry, and thematic notes.
  • This position requires managing databases, collecting and analyzing news, and responding to ad hoc research requests.

Maintaining strong communication with clients and stakeholders is crucial for this position.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Exceptional financial modeling and research report-writing/presentation making skills.
  • Critical thinking abilities to analyze drivers and KPIs across various sectors.
  • Effective client relationship management skills and clear communication skills.
  • An eye for detail and ability to handle multiple workflows under tight deadlines.
  • Numerical skills and capacity to build complex, error-free models with well-defined revenue/cost driver assumptions.
  • Earnings sensitivity analysis and providing own valuation views after conducting relative, DCF-based or industry appropriate valuations.
  • Strong writing skills, focusing on logical and structured writing that minimizes rework.
  • Experience with technologies such as Python, SQL, Power BI is advantageous but not required.
