Are you a seasoned Stripe professional looking for a new challenge?

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the implementation, integration, and ongoing management of our Stripe platform. As a hybrid role combining engineering expertise with administrative ownership, you will be responsible for driving success for our clients.

The ideal candidate has successfully delivered a full Stripe implementation and can act as the subject-matter expert for all payment-related systems and operations. You will work closely with our teams to streamline processes and improve accuracy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end implementation of Stripe modules (Payments, Billing, Connect, Subscriptions) and ensure seamless integrations with other systems.
  • Configure workflows for invoicing, recurring billing, chargebacks, and refunds, providing transparent and reliable payment flows.
  • Manage Stripe accounts, user roles, permissions, and integrations with other systems, ensuring data security and integrity.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Operations teams to translate business process flows into Stripe configurations and optimize payment processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Stripe Developer/Engineer, including leading at least one Stripe implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of Stripe APIs, webhooks, and modules, with a solid understanding of payment process flows and reconciliation.
  • Experience with test data creation, automation, and CI/CD testing frameworks, ensuring accurate and efficient testing processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical and business process issues end-to-end, providing solutions and recommendations for improvement.
