Statutory Audit Specialist

As a Statutory Audit Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and scheduling statutory audit assignments to ensure timely completion.
  • Independently finalizing statutory audit assignments, including group reporting, to maintain the highest level of quality.
  • Ensuring compliance with Schedule III of the Companies Act, 2013 in financial statements by conducting thorough reviews and analyses.
  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements as per IND AS requirements to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Developing audit planning documentation that addresses scope, audit objective, budgeted hours, resource plan, and reporting date to facilitate smooth execution.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including good presentation and report-writing skills. They should also be able to develop and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the organization.

In addition to these skills, the candidate should be able to provide recommendations for strengthening controls and deal well with ambiguity and constant change while working independently.

Travel to various client sites across Western and Central lines as per audit schedule is also expected.
