Job Overview:

The successful candidate will report directly to the Territory Manager and work as part of a multi-functional team. This role involves collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets and collection targets by working closely with distributors and retailers.
  • Maintain a strong distribution network and ensure effective teamwork.
  • Provide market infrastructure and stay in regular contact with customers.
  • Appoint and train distributors, conduct SWOT analyses of markets and distributors, and update product knowledge.
  • Motivate distributors and sales representatives for better market coverage.
  • Conduct regular reviews with distributors and sales representatives to achieve desired goals.
  • Establish a robust distribution network.
  • Develop good communication with retailers and customers.
  • Complete daily call reports immediately after each market visit.
  • Merchandise and monitor redistribution activities.
  • Always be presentable, wear a uniform, and carry an ID card.
  • Carry product samples and relevant brochures.

Sales Promotion:

  • Use sufficient POP materials, brochures, and posters, and display them in the market.
  • Assist distributors in liquidating stocks and implementing company trade schemes, participate in exhibitions, product promotions, and customer awareness programs.
  • Plan budgets and schemes for sales promotion to maximize returns.
  • Manage distributor inventories and settle claims.
  • Visit farmers and their fields to explore and promote bio-products.
  • Regularly visit hospitals, industries, panchayats, and municipal corporations to promote industrial products.
  • Collect orders from dealers, distributors, or institutions on their letterheads or order formats with clear payment terms.

Key Role:

  • Closely monitor distributor indents and execute them.
  • Identify and explore new market segments and develop new areas.
  • Maintain close relationships with key and institutional customers.
  • Pursue government departments' interests.
  • Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
  • Constantly seek out new business opportunities.
  • Ensure all trade schemes are operated properly by distributors.

Focus Areas:

  • Ensure profitability in each case.
  • Reduce damaged stocks and market returns.
  • Analyze competitor activities and market information, and provide reports to the company.
  • Minimize outstanding amounts and expedite recovery from markets.
  • Display a positive attitude, honesty, punctuality, and discipline.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all government licenses, sales permissions, and other regulations.
  • Ensure proper documentation and updating of records related to sales and collections.
  • Perform monthly analysis of sales data for improved results.
  • Control costs and maintain personal financial discipline.

Estimated Salary:

₹5,50,000 - ₹6,50,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

  • Delivering sales and collections under pressure situations.
  • Team player with good working relations with the team and reporting manager.

Educational Qualification/Other Requirements:

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in any field.
  • Undergraduates must have a proven track record in sales.
