Transform complex information into clear, compelling, and human-centered visual stories as a Data Visualization Specialist.

The Role

Work closely with designers, researchers, strategists, and engineers to craft data-driven narratives that support better decision-making and enhance user experiences.

  • Translate data and insights into intuitive, engaging, and meaningful visualizations.
  • Design dashboards, interactive visuals, and storytelling tools for various audiences.
  • Collaborate with UX and UI designers to ensure seamless integration of visualizations into digital products.
  • Partner with data scientists, analysts, and developers to understand datasets, define requirements, and bring concepts to life.
  • Apply design thinking principles to make data accessible, inclusive, and actionable.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging tools, trends, and best practices in data visualization and design.
Requirements
  • Strong portfolio showcasing data visualization, dashboard design, or interactive storytelling.
  • Experience with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, D3.js, Figma, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of information design, data literacy, and visual hierarchy.
  • Experience designing for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to simplify complexity, communicate clearly, and think creatively about presenting information.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices in data visualization.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in consultancy, agency, or product design environments.
  • Understanding of user research and how insights shape design.
