The role of Pharmacy Operations Manager is pivotal in ensuring seamless pharmacy operations, from procurement and inventory management to compliance and patient service. This professional will oversee end-to-end pharmacy operations including planning, procurement, inventory control, storage, and distribution.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and statutory licensing requirements.
- Proper storage of medicines including cold chain, high-alert, narcotic, and LASA drugs.
- Monitoring and resolution of bounce drug prescriptions, ensuring timely Inpatient/Outpatient transactions.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in hospital pharmacy operations, procurement, and inventory management.
- Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, storage protocols, and hospital formulary management.
- Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and hospital information systems.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
