Job Description

The ideal candidate for this position will possess both knowledge and technical depth about the industry. This is essential as they will be a central figure in decision-making processes, working with multiple individuals across different teams.

  • Experience in plant & machinery departments, specifically high-rise towers.
  • Erection, dismantling, maintenance, and operation of Luffing Jib tower cranes, passenger hoists, placer booms, etc.

Key responsibilities include methodology development, equipment erection, operation, and preparation of checklists. The successful candidate will also control spare parts inventory and cost optimization, source plant & machinery operators, mechanics, etc.

Additionally, they will generate local MIS to Mechanical Heads at HO/Project In charge, maintain site records of equipment, including log books, preventive maintenance records, and upkeep of equipment at zonal sites.

They will make budget estimates of each month for spares and running expenses for each machine and monitor them on a monthly basis.

Furthermore, they will train all concerned personnel, workers, and operators on how to use equipment safely to avoid accidents and ensure proper maintenance.

Other key responsibilities include ensuring optimum use of P&M corresponding to their rated productivity output, minimizing equipment breakdowns, and ensuring maximum availability at the site.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience.
