Job Title:

E-commerce Platform Developer

As an experienced E-commerce Platform Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient back-end systems using leading e-commerce platforms.

  • Design and implement business solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware)
  • Develop RESTful web services, Ajax-driven client applications, and Advanced JavaScript architectures
  • Implement SFRA framework and integrate custom services into the platform
  • Configure Business Manager and manage jobs to ensure seamless integration
  • Work with Pipelines, JS controllers, ISML templates, and real-time data exchange using web services
  • Integrate payment, tax, and operation management suite (OMS) integrations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software features and fixes
  • Perform debugging and troubleshooting tasks to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in e-commerce development

Requirements:

  1. 6-7+ years of experience in developing business solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware)
  2. Good knowledge of SFCC / Demandware Script, Java OOP/Node.js
  3. Expertise in RESTful web services, Ajax-driven client applications, and Advanced JavaScript architectures
  4. Strong background in World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), accessibility guidelines, model view controller (MVC), agile development, and tools
  5. Experience in using Pipelines, JS controllers, ISML templates, and real-time data exchange using web services
  6. Hands-on experience of integrating custom services into the platform
  7. Good understanding of Business Manager and configuring jobs
  8. Strong SQL knowledge
  9. Exposure to technical reports and understanding of limitations, such as quotas
  10. Proficient in foundational concepts with good knowledge of SiteGenesis, UX Studio, content assets or slots, and Demandware Catalog
  11. SFCC certifications would be preferred
  12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  13. Motivated to complete tasks independently
