Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring product quality, reliability, usability, and performance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for testing the product for functional, GUI, and performance issues. They will also work closely with developers to report and troubleshoot issues.

This role requires strong process knowledge in quality assurance and the ability to identify and resolve quality issues. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in testing web and windows-based applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual testing, including test cases, test execution, and reporting bugs
  • Document and track case histories, issues, and actionable steps taken
  • Prepare test cases for module, integration, and system testing
  • Design and develop tools for test management, execution, and reporting

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in testing web and windows-based applications
  • Hands-on experience in performance testing
  • Creating test cases, test sets, and test executions for web and windows-based applications
  • Performing ad-hoc testing, smoke testing, data-driven testing, cross-browser testing
  • Performing release acceptance, functional, integration, system level, and regression testing
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows File Server, and SQL is an advantage
  • Experience with Atlassian products and XRAY is an advantage
