Key Objective:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Strategic Leader to oversee the procurement process, ensuring smooth acquisition of critical materials, efficient cost management, and optimal supplier performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing and procuring raw materials, components, consumables, and tooling for manufacturing operations
  • Identifying, evaluating, and on-boarding suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance
  • Raising and monitoring purchase orders based on production schedules and inventory levels
  • Negotiating prices, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers
  • Tracking market trends and implementing cost-saving initiatives
  • Coordinating with production, stores, quality, and finance teams to ensure end-to-end procurement alignment
  • Maintaining documentation for audits, vendor evaluations, and management reporting
  • Assisting in new product development (NPD) sourcing activities
Requirements:
  • MBA in Operations Management (Mandatory)
  • 3–4 years of hands-on procurement experience in an automotive ancillary or Tier 1 supplier environment
  • Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Others)
  • Familiarity with automotive standards and documentation
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools
