Our organization is seeking a skilled Network Security Specialist to join our Web Application Firewall team.

The successful candidate will assist in deploying and maintaining the Firm's internet facing web application security controls, expanding our Web Application Firewall (WAF), Bot Management, CVA protection and API Security Controls capabilities.

This role requires excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills to ensure that perimeter security for web properties keeps pace with the changing threat landscape firmwide.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with global tech functions to onboard internet facing web apps to WAF, review logs, implement tuning, web blocking etc. for onboarded applications.

Key responsibilities include mapping IP addresses FQDNs to services and applications, liaising with service owners and associated teams to gather relevant application data for WAF migration purposes.

Additionally, the selected candidate will analyze web behavior and performance to establish acceptable application thresholds, perform policy tuning in accordance with performance baseline, transition WAF from transparent to enforcement mode, cleanse and validate data, participate in proof of concepts for new security capabilities, change management, incident, problem management, conduct Root Cause Analysis RCA, respond to incidents and participate in postmortem analysis.

Strong collaboration skills across multiple teams are required, as well as an understanding of ITIL processes.

Experience with Akamai or equivalent platform(s) such as Radware, Imperva, Shape Security, CloudFlare, etc. is desirable.
