Job Overview:
">We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our financial department, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating financial records, preparing and processing invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
- Utilize accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and NetSuite to perform bookkeeping tasks.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with Australian tax laws.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal team members to resolve any bookkeeping issues.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and NetSuite.
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations is a plus.
