Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our financial department, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating financial records, preparing and processing invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
  • Utilize accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and NetSuite to perform bookkeeping tasks.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with Australian tax laws.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal team members to resolve any bookkeeping issues.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
  • Proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and NetSuite.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations is a plus.
