Role: Finance Specialist

You will work alongside pioneers from companies like Microsoft, Uber, PayPal, Airtel, and Jio to build and scale next-gen ventures. Your role will ensure financial discipline, compliance, and strategic insights that power high-growth businesses.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and financial records.
  • Handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
  • Prepare management information system reports, profit and loss statements, and monthly financial dashboards.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for ventures.
  • Ensure compliance with taxation (Goods and Services Tax, Tax Deduction at Source, Income Tax) and statutory filings.
  • Assist in audits, financial documentation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with business teams to provide financial insights for decision-making.
  • Implement internal financial controls to drive efficiency and reduce risks.
  • Support venture finance setup for new business units.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce (BCom/MCom) or professional qualification (Institute of Cost Accountants of India).
  • 1-2 years of experience in finance, accounts, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, financial models).
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
