Video Annotation Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Video Annotation Specialist to work on a project at a leading artificial intelligence laboratory. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in data annotation, transcription, or quality assurance.

The selected individual will watch short videos of robots performing tasks and create detailed, structured annotations that map robotic actions to human-readable descriptions. This work will directly support the training and evaluation of Large Language Models (LLMs) for robotics and embodied AI systems.

This role involves watching and analyzing robotic task videos, summarizing the main objective, smaller steps, and outcome, providing timestamped, detailed annotations of robot movements, following strict annotation guidelines for consistency, reviewing/refining work based on feedback.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail & ability to follow structured guidelines.
  • Clear written English communication.
  • Comfortable with repetitive, accuracy-focused work.
  • Ability to judge task outcomes (success/partial/failure).

Engagement Details

  • Duraton: 2 months (extendable)
  • Evaluation: 30-min test task before selection
  • Location: Remote
